Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
  1. Click "Tools" on the tool bar.
  2. Click "Internet Options" at the bottom of the menu.
  3. Click the "Security" tab in the upper left-hand corner of the dialog box.
  4. Select the "Internet" icon.
  5. Click the "Custom Levels" button at the bottom of the dialog box.
  6. Scroll down the list until you see the heading "Scripting".
  7. The first section below the "Scripting" header is "Active Scripting".
  8. Click the "Enable" radio button under "Active Scripting".
  9. Click "OK" at the bottom of the screen.
  10. Close the remaining boxes by clicking "Yes" or "OK".
  11. As a final step, click the "Refresh" button on the browser tool bar. This will ensure that the new setting to enable JavaScript has taken effect.
 
Netscape Navigator 4.7x
  1. Click "Edit" on the tool bar.
  2. Click "Preferences" at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
  3. Click "Advanced" in the "Category" window of the "Preferences" dialog box.
  4. Click the check box labeled "Enable JavaScript".
  5. Click "OK".
  6. As a final step, click the "Reload" button on the browser tool bar. This will ensure that the new setting to enable JavaScript has taken effect.

 

Netscape Navigator 7.01
  1. Click "Edit" on the tool bar.
  2. Click "Preferences" at the bottom of the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the arrow to the left of "Advanced" in the "Category" window of the "Preferences" dialog box.
  4. The Advanced tree maximizes and there should be Scripts & Plugins under "Advanced".
  5. Click on "Scripts & Plugins".
  6. Under the text "Enable JavaScript for" check "Navigator".
  7. Click "OK".
  8. As a final step, click the "Reload" button on the browser tool bar. This will ensure that the new setting to enable JavaScript has taken effect.
